Capture the Spirit of Your Community
We’re inviting locals of all ages and skill levels to capture the heart of their neighborhoods. From street scenes to smiling faces, submit your photo and help us celebrate what makes Lilydale special.
How It Works
Photo Submissions (15th September – 12th October)
What makes Showgrounds Village special to you? Snap a photo of the people, places, or moments and submit your photo .
Categories:
- Junior Photographer (Under 18s)
- Beginner’s Eye (Smartphones/basic cameras)
- Pro-Am (Advanced gear/editing)
Judging
Judging will take place on Tuesday, 14th October and will be conducted by a centre management representative alongside a seasoned professional from the photography industry
Each category winner will receive a $500 prize, and the top 20 entries will progress to the People’s Choice Award where the public can vote for their favourites on their next visit to Showgrounds Village.

Voting will run from 27th October to 16th November, with voters entering a draw to win a $300 Showgrounds Village Gift Card. Winners will be announced on 18th November across the Showgrounds Village social media and website.
